With the success of the first annual PV PRIDE PET PARADE dog walk last year, we are pleased to announce the second annual PV PRIDE PET PARADE SUNSET DOG WALK.

Here’s the scoop –

When:  6:00 pm Monday, May 20, 2024

Where: Plaza Lazaro Cardenas (the “tile park”)

Come in pride colors or costumes to win prizes!

Register online below by making a suggested donation of 200 pesos or more and check in at the registration table when you arrive to get your wristband.

Local pet businesses will be there to display their goods too.

Route: Beginning at Plaza Lazaro Cardenas, take a vibrant sunset stroll along the Malecon, soaking up the lively energy of Puerto Vallarta’s iconic boardwalk until reaching Fuente de los delfines and returning.

Event Details

Meet at 6:00 pm in tile park where everyone will gather to show off their cute pooches. Come in costumes or pride colors to win prizes. This year we have a 2 night hotel stay at the beautiful dog friendly Puerto De Luna. Gift certificates from Daiquri Dicks, Let’s Pho, Brooklyns All Natural Dog Treats, and leashes from Pets Gone Wild. Plus raffle prizes too!
All this while enjoying the music of Yara Di Leo!

The sunset walk along the Malecón will commence at 7 pm sharp offering breathtaking views of the ocean and city skyline.

For those without a furry friend, the organizers have you covered. Puppy Paradise will provide dogs from the shelter for participants to walk, but reservations must be made in advance.

“This event is not only about celebrating pride but also about supporting a good cause,” said a spokesperson for the Yvonneka Foundation. “We invite everyone, with or without a dog, to join us for what promises to be a memorable evening.”
